This is a good widget, but the score of "today's" game only displays when the game is in progress (and when it does, you can't tell which number goes with which team). When the game ends, it goes back to displaying the start time; it would be better if it showed the final score.

On my version, the standings only show how many games behind teams are. The first place team doesn't show up at all. You should show the first place team in the standings to make the whole standings section make sense.

@jimby: If #2 happens again, please send me ([email protected]) the following info: The team you were watching and the approximate date and time. From this info I hope I can track down the problem. It seems to be doing the right thing for the teams I am watching, so I am kinda stumped...

#1 & #3 appear to be fixed, but not #2. I was following a game now & then last nite, and after the game finished, I noticed it went back to showing the start time again. Also, how hard would it be to move the "inning" display to the main screen, right under the score? The score would be much more meaningful if you also knew the inning, without having to tap to see it.

There was an update published on 4/18 that should fix the win/loss problem. @jimby: #3 is definitely fixed. #2: I agree 100% and the current version *should* do that. Please let me know if it isn't. I also did a bunch of work in the area of score ordering on the display and I *think* I have it right now... @nut864: I'm still working on your suggestions. I've got them in the test version I'm using, just not quite ready to publish them yet!

Agree, great widget. Same thing is happening for Yankee scores - a win shows up as a loss. While I acknowledge some Red Sox fans might prefer this, it would be nice to fix.

Not sure if this is happening with all teams or just the Tigers... After a Detroit win, the score is reversed and shows an (L) in the score box. Sometimes this is fixed the day after the game... Overall great widget.

It never occurred to me that this widget was tap-enabled. Thanks! A few other things that would be nice: (1) It seems that the H-A score format in today's game switches to A-H format for yesterday's game. I think if the home score was always listed 1st, then there might not need to be any other indication. (2) After today's game is complete, keep the final score listed all day. Not very useful to display the start time for a game that is completed. (3) East-coast afternoon games that start at 1:15PM are showing up as 12:15 *AM* for my chumby in the Central time zone. Should be 12:15 PM.

@johnfj: An unconfigured widget will pick a random MLB team to display. Find the widget that you've added to your channel and click on the "Customize" link. This should bring you to a page where you can select the team to follow.

how do you change to your home team, Mets ?

Love the feedback so far. :) I'll figure out some way to make the "important" teams score more visually distinct. Currently, the score should always given as H-A, though that still doesn't make it easy to figure out without some thought. jimby: tap on the current score on the right side of the screen and it should tell you the inning and who is at bat and pitching. I may add a timer to flip this back and forth automatically (and also enlarge the hit area for the tap...).

I love this widget. It keeps me updated on Phillies scores. Suggestions for the next version: 1) Make your selected team's score visually distinct. 2) Highlight the row for "Today" if it's close to game time or if the game is in progress.

I would add some way of telling which number is the home or visitor's score (maybe by color), and show the inning of games in progress. Otherwise, it has everything I want - nice job!

This is currently the first release that actually does everything it is trying to do. I really want to try and squeeze out some better performance out of it. Please also make any suggestions on how it may look better. I'm more of a programmer and less of a "looking good" kind of guy so your help is appreciated.
