description: Build custom control panels specifying buttons and layout via an XML file provided by your local web server. Actions for button clicks are also specified in the XML file and are executed by a PHP script on your web server. Click the widget to enable audio if the widget uses it. Note that modern browser security may prevent the widget from loading content from other web sites, however the widget should be able to load properly on the chumby devices.     avajon, i've changed the behavior of the osd feature. in your xml file, put the number of seconds to display the message in the osd tag. to display for 30 seconds: 30

    is a really coooooollll app!!! the only problem i have is the OSD. it won't stay - it shows the message for 1 second and then it hides again... am i doing something wrong?
