description: A countdown timer you can use in your kitchen or anywhere else. An alarm sounds when the countdown is complete. Configure your alarm sound from three different styles: alarm ring, bamboo chimes and a gentle tone.

Click the widget to enable audio if the widget uses it. Note that modern browser security may prevent the widget from loading content from other web sites, however the widget should be able to load properly on the chumby devices.     This is handy and I use it a lot - the end of countdown display is easily noticed, as I often don't have the sound up.

    Unfortunately, the Timer resets as soon as it switches to the next widget in the channel which means that it really must be in its own channel.

    @cctang I believe it's a 24-hour timer, eg. 23 hr 59 min 59 sec.

    this widget freezes my chumby regularly - does anybody else have this same issue?

    Thanks for that! Exactly what I wanted. Is it possible to get a choice of sound and loudness? I need a LOUD alarm sound in my kitchen.

    version 1.2 introduces a "repeat" button. When the countdown finishes, you can repeat the last countdown again using this button.
