Thanks for the quick answers. This is funny. I definitely have a difference between the Chumby (Chumby One) and the virtual Chumby. I have tested the virtual Chumby on a Windows computer (x86) a Linux computer (x86) and a Linux smart phone (ARM). They all give the exact same number. Only the physical Chumby is different. I see 6,99 billion there ... The clock on the Chumby is correct, time zone and all. Could this be an issue with floating point rounding on the Chumby?

The value shown is actually from a mathematical formula based on the current time. The formula is: e^(22.528293835777973 + .00000000000040275867940663167699e*t- .00000000000000000000000011020778551110890530*t*t) where t is the number of milliseconds since midnight July 1, 2000. The formula is based on a curve-fit for historical data, which is typical for a such clocks. Any discrepancy would probably be due to the time being set wrong, or some numeric computation bug in Flash.

@MartinN - I have verified this app both on the virtual chumby (website) and a chumby one device. The website version is ahead only about 7 people. Do any of your other apps have discrepencies from the virtual and actual chumby app? For further assistance come see us in support (http://www.chumby.com/pages/help_support). -chumby support

This one is getting interesting. We are close to 7 billion! But why is there such a big difference between the preview on the computer and the one running on the Chumby? They are showing the same time in the lower right, but the computer says approx 6,91 billion where the Chumby says 6,99 billion.
