Google Reader
by chumby (chumby industries)popularity rank: 5
description: Available for the chumby8 and chumby for Android only (written in AS3). View your Google Reader feeds in an easy-to-view interface. Email yourself articles so you can read them later, or view an article in the chumbrowser. Customize how long each article appears, which subscriptions to view and pause/play your stream of articles at any time.
Click the widget to enable audio if the widget uses it. Note that modern browser security may prevent the widget from loading content from other web sites, however the widget should be able to load properly on the chumby devices. These previews are possible through the use of Ruffle ‐ note that Ruffle is still a work in progress, and not all Flash features are implemented, so some widgets may not perform optimally.

Is there a possibility that a beta version of Google Reader could be in the works for the Beta Chumby One Control Panel which I am told has AS3 support?

I wish I could have some more choice over which feeds I can view. It's only showing me the top 4 - I can't even scroll to see more? Oh well. Chumby's for kids.

I installed and configured this app via the website. I chose about 8 out of my 53 feeds to display. I noticed later that it forgot its settings and started showing all 53. Maybe I am doing something wrong? It doesn't seem to rotate through all of my feeds either. Should I create multiple widgets with just one feed?

It says "This app is not available for your device." when I tried to add it to my Chumby One. I assumed it was for the Chumby8 from the small text in the screenshot, but I wanted to give it a try anyway.
