Click the widget to enable audio if the widget uses it. Note that modern browser security may prevent the widget from loading content from other web sites, however the widget should be able to load properly on the chumby devices. These previews are possible through the use of Ruffle ‐ note that Ruffle is still a work in progress, and not all Flash features are implemented, so some widgets may not perform optimally.

Woot! removed their RSS feed in 2019, dev on woot's forum say it will not return.

Please fix, waking up with Chumby is not the same without woot.

The current WOOT front page is such a mess, I don't know if it's worth trying to fix. Nothing spontaneous or fun there any more. Used to be great when it was one item. Amazon owns it, so it'll probably just get more cluttered with mediocre deals.

Another request to fix this app! Tired of looking at "undefined" as the deal of the day. :)

Could someone please fix this app. I know it was woot! that changed their website but I bet woot! accounts for a substantial % of chumbys sold. Seems it would be in chumby's best interest to get this working.

Too bad this went out with the Woot update. I NEVER do updates on anything. It always causes more problems than what was gained. You don't fix what ain't broke. But in this case Woot itself broke it. Any chance this app will be redesigned to work with the "New & Improved" (total sarcasm) Woot?

I hope ksteele reads this and tunes the app up. Maybe even release the source code so it can be maintained after chumby goes dark.

Rats, it looks like this broke with the recent Woot upgrade.

If you want to see updated info on this app best advice is to put this app twice in the same channel. This way they will cycle and be refreshed with updates everytime each instance of the app is played. Do keep in mind that this app doesn't not work with Woot Offs. chumby support

How often does this app refresh the data? I'm watching a Woot-Off and it isn't keeping up. I'm trying to figure out whether I'm doing something wrong or if I simply have unreasonable expectations.

I try to set the widget to play for 'forever' but it always skips ahead to the next app after a minute or so. This doesn't seem to happen with any of my other apps, is this a known behavior?

Works great for me ksteele is right.

Several people have commented that this app is down or not functioning because they are confusing it with the Woot 2.0 app that was taken down. If you have the old app in your channel, go ahead and replace it with this one to get your Woot back!

I've had the same problem. It hasn't been working for quite some time for me either.

This app has been down for weeks (?) and it says something about being available again soon. What is up with that? Not sure why I am the first comment about this -- is this happening to everyone else?

Updated to automatically extend the widget timeout when listening to wootcasts so they are no longer cut off.

Updated to reflect woot.com's new look and feel. Clicking on the product thumbnail shows detailed views. Added support for woot podcasts (when available). For now, the "I want one" button is just fun to press ;)

I helped out with shirt.woot and wine.woot - unfortunately sellout.woot will be harder, since there's no RSS feed for it.

I love this. Let me know if you need any help with any future improvements. Tab to read the writeup, maybe? (I dream of being able to wake up to the Woot podcast!) Dave Rutledge Creative Director Woot, Inc.

Maybe you guys can integrate all the Woot! websites into this widget? Sellout.woot.com, Woot.com, shirt.woot.com, and wine.woot.com.
