Pandora Songmarks

description: Displays the most recent songs bookmarked by a Pandora user. Hint: Your Pandora username is the name shown in your address bar (http://www.pandora.com/people/USERNAME) when you click the "Your Profile" link on Pandora.
Click the widget to enable audio if the widget uses it. Note that modern browser security may prevent the widget from loading content from other web sites, however the widget should be able to load properly on the chumby devices. These previews are possible through the use of Ruffle ‐ note that Ruffle is still a work in progress, and not all Flash features are implemented, so some widgets may not perform optimally.

It only shows bookmarks, not the currently playing song, which would probably be much more useful.

Thanks moshiko51...New to chumby...I knew that there must be a simple explanation as to why no music was playing! After going through the music icon, music is now playing! Thanks again!

@sgolden876, this isn't the Pandora audio service on chumby -- this is just a widget that displays songs you've marked. To listen to Pandora on chumby, go to the control panel, select Music, and then tap Pandora and follow instructions from there.

Do I understand correctly that this widget only displays cover art? Does it actually play your Pandora stations on Chumby?

This widget does exactly what the description says it does -- it displays songs that you've marked in your Pandora account. I have to admit that I misunderstood it when I first read the description and thought it would display the last few songs that had been played on Pandora (which I think would be much more useful). I don't see much utility in seeing the album art of my favorite songs, but others may like it.

works great and has opened me up to new music that's not far a field for my normal tastes a real winnner. 90% OF MY TIME IS SPENT HERE - UTTERLY FASCIGNATING.

Anyone having issues should make sure that they've bookmarked at least one song on Pandora (from the menu arrow button on the album art, to go bookmark, then song). Pandora doesn't seem to serve up a feed at all if the user hasn't bookmarked anything. Hope this helps.

Still nothing - just loading.

Still just reads "loading". Title bar read "jdslater's" not the full url anymore.

Ack! I misunderstood and pasted the whole url. Trying now with just name. Thanks.

Just to be sure, you're putting "jdslater" in the username box, not the whole url right?
theilliniguy
– July 08 2008
Nope. Pasted http://www.pandora.com/people/jdslater right in there but all it does is read "Loading".

So the username to use for this widget isn't your email address. In order to access the right feed it needs the unique name used in your pandora profile page accessed by clicking "Your Profile" on the Pandora site. Example, my profile page URL is http://www.pandora.com/people/eeenmachine so my "username" and the default for this widget is "eeenmachine". Hope that helps.

Agree - me too - loading only. Fixing?

This widget sits on Loading..... and never shows my songs. I am using my full email address as the username which I'm sure is correct. Any advice?

You might not have your username correct, look in the url of your user page.
