Daily Trend

Daily Trend is a widget that allows you to chart a daily value for up to a year. Examples could be Weight, Rainfall, Money Spent, Distance Jogged / Driven, Hours Worked etc. There are 3 screens. Settings - to configure the widget, Data - used to enter daily value and Chart - used to view the charted data. Because its uses a few classes it can be a little slow to load - please be patient and enjoy.

LAN Music

LAN Music plays mp3's from a CIFS/SMB share and requires a script installed (simply copy files to USB and reboot chumby - very easy) - details [[http://forum.chumby.com/viewtopic.php?pid=30754#p30754|here]], so won't run on virtual chumby. You need to configure a share in chumby.com. Some comments on share setup 1 use IP address instead of server name 2 include a user name even if share is open to everyone 3 use a limited account - name and password are encrypted but they are not bullet proof. I have only used it on windows share not sure if it will work on NAS box Features are similar to normal MP3 player but with default and night mode extras - I have documented the interface [[http://notjunior.net/chumby/help/usbandlanmusichelp.html|here]]. Note Flash Lite does not like (wont play or plays funny) some mp3's - sorry its a bit hit and miss. Set the config to forever so does not time out. Have Fun.

Network Usage

This widget requires a script - see details [[http://forum.chumby.com/viewtopic.php?id=3744|here]]. When installed it captures and then reports by day and by hour the amount of data through the Wifi interface for up to a week. Please note this may no be exactly same as you internet traffic due to local traffic.

USB Music

USB Photo

USB Photo is a widget that provides a photo slide show from images on a local USB stick. This widget requires a script to be installed (simply copy files to USB and reboot chumby - very easy) - details [[http://forum.chumby.com/viewtopic.php?pid=26377#p26377|here]], hence does not run on virtual chumby. It can be configured for timeout etc. One of the parameters is an image file filter based on chumby grep regular expressions - this could be used for example for only viewing a single directory on the USB stick etc. A full description of grep parameters is included with the script instructions at the link above. Image formats supported are JPG, JPEG, GIF and PNG. Touch the screen to restart the timer (delay) the current photo.
