description: (private, no more kanji-a-day-site) This widget shows the current kanji of the day for your learning pleasure from [[http://www.hokubei.com/en/series/Kanji-Day|hokubei]]. The kanji-a-day page is a bit too big for the Chumby, so you will always only see a zoomed in part. Untouched, mainly the kanji will be shown. This way, you can try to guess the meaning and pronounciation, then scroll with your finger down to see the correct answer. Also, you can scroll right to see some example sentences. Using the blue arrows you can also study other kanjis. After some time a new kanji will be shown.

Click the widget to enable audio if the widget uses it. Note that modern browser security may prevent the widget from loading content from other web sites, however the widget should be able to load properly on the chumby devices. These previews are possible through the use of Ruffle ‐ note that Ruffle is still a work in progress, and not all Flash features are implemented, so some widgets may not perform optimally.

Hi Xamar, thats a feature, not a bug :-) The kanji-a-day page is a bit big, so when i shrink it to fit the chumby, one cannot read anything anymore. So I zoom in on the kanji, you can try to guess the meaning/pronounciation, and then scroll with your finger down to see the answer. Also, you could scroll right to see some example sentences...

Seems not properly aligned... Sad, because I find it quite enjoyable
