This content requires Adobe Flash Player 8 or greater.

Get Adobe Flash player

Click the widget to enable audio if the widget uses it. Note that modern browser security may prevent the widget from loading content from other web sites, however the widget should be able to load properly on the chumby devices. These previews are possible through the use of Ruffle ‐ note that Ruffle is still a work in progress, and not all Flash features are implemented, so some widgets may not perform optimally.

Choose 'Yes' from the Flash column & view the flash book.

i think a good use for this would be a DIY photo album- you know, upload pics, then add to chumby as a photo gallery booklet thingy just sayin

Matt - to get the effect it's generating, it's moving a *ton* of pixels around in a very short time. I'm surprised it works at all. I've done another 'page turner' that I abandoned because although it was smooth enough, it didn't look how I wanted it to. I think I'm just going to have to wait for the newer, faster hardware *and* the larger screens - now *then* I'll be able to do ebooks, photogallerys - heck even a crossword book, or a coloring in book for kids.

Can it not be optimised any more? Or maybe it relies on functions that chumby can optimise in their implementation of Flash.

Please find some way to let us use our own pictures. Maybe Flickr support? Then I could just tell it to get photos off my Flickr Channel. Also, can you set it to automatically change pages if the user doesn't touch the screen? It'd be cool for slide shows. Thanks!

Maybe reading e-books? Perhaps ebooks.com might be interested in partnering with you.

I really would like it if you could put your own pictures there.

I think I would add this widget to my "show what the chumby can do" channel. Pretty cool to turn pages like a book on the chum. If I could change widgets like that....WOW!

Although this works pretty well on the virtual chumby, it is pretty slow on the real chumby. Maybe this is something for the (potential) new machines with the faster processors ?
